Weather Paris
See the weather for ParisParis weather is characterized by cool winters and warm summers. Thanks to the moderating effect of the Atlantic Ocean, it has less extreme temperatures that other parts of the country. In winter, for example, snow is quite rare and temperatures generally fall no lower than 6C even in January. It is usually somewhat windy from November to January, however, so it may still feel quite cold at times. Light rain is a common feature of Paris weather all year round, so consider a raincoat or an umbrella for your trip, especially if you are visiting the French capital during Spring or Autumn. Luckily, rain showers often come and go quickly, with a rapid return to sunny skies in some cases! Summers are warm and pleasant, with daily average highs in the early 20s for June, July and August. May and September are also two nice times to visit Paris, when tourist numbers are fewer and the temperatures average in the late teens.
